This Sunday, August 24th, we warmly invite you to join us at Otakoi in celebrating Ukrainian Independence Day.
It’s a very special day for every Ukrainian — and we’d love to share it with all of you who have made us feel so welcome here in Melbourne.
The main colours of the day will of course be blue and yellow, just like the Ukrainian flag — feel free to wear them and help us fill Otakoi with Ukrainian spirit
1. Cupcakes for a Good Cause
All day long, we’ll be offering blue-and-yellow cupcakes — not just sweet and beautiful, but meaningful.
100% of proceeds will be donated to the Ukrainian Crisis Appeal in Australia to help support people in Ukraine.
2. The Blue & Yellow Shot
Raise a glass to Ukraine!
We’ve created a special blue-and-yellow shot, available only on this day — and just like with the cupcakes, all proceeds will go to the Ukrainian Crisis Appeal.
3. Varenyky with a Surprise!
To add a little fun, one of our signature varenyky will contain a “lucky” surprise.
If you’re the guest who finds it — you’ll receive a complimentary shot of our house-made vyshnivka (cherry liqueur)
