Otakoi was born from a love story.

Ganna, a Ukrainian refugee, arrived in Melbourne carrying memories of home and a lifelong dream of opening her own restaurant. She met Micheal, a passionate local chef, and they fell in love, bonding over a shared vision. They decided to combine her financial skills and heritage with his culinary talent to create a taste of Ukraine on Chapel Street.
