December at Otakoï was one of those months we’ll remember for a long time 💛Busy, emotional, loud, joyful — and full of moments that reminded us why we do what we do.

As the year wrapped up, our restaurant became more than just a place to eat. It became a space for families, kids, traditions, celebrations, and dancing well past midnight.

Here’s a little recap of how December looked and felt at Otakoï.

Kids’ Christmas Masterclass: Small Hands, Big Smiles

One of the most heartwarming moments of December was our Ukrainian Christmas Kids Masterclass. Seeing children gathered around the table, learning traditions, crafting, laughing, and proudly showing what they made was something truly special.

For many families, it wasn’t just an activity - it was a way to pass culture and traditions to the next generation, in a warm and joyful space.

And yes - after seeing how much joy this brought, we can officially say:✨ We’ll be doing more kids’ masterclasses in the New Year. Different themes, more creativity, and more chances for little (and big) hands to get involved.

Christmas Eve at Otakoï: Sviat Vechir with Heart

Our Christmas Eve (Sviat Vechir) celebration was deeply meaningful. Families gathered around the table, traditional dishes were shared, prayers were said, and Ukrainian kolyadky filled the room.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who chose to spend such an important evening with us. Thank you for trusting us with your traditions, your families, and your memories.

Moments like these remind us that Otakoï is not just about food — it’s about connection.

New Year’s Eve: Dancing, Laughing & Celebrating Together

And then came New Year’s Eve — loud, joyful, and full of life 🥂

Two levels, two vibes, one big celebration.

From elegant dinners downstairs to dancing and cocktails upstairs at OhTak Bar, the night was filled with music, laughter, movement, and that special feeling you only get when everyone is welcoming the New Year together.

It was festive, a little chaotic (in the best way), and exactly how we love to celebrate.
