Planning Your End-of-Year Visit to Otakoï Ukrainian Restaurant? Our Holiday Hours Are Here!

As we head into the busiest season of the year, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you for the incredible warmth and support you've shown Otakoï Ukrainian Restaurant.


With tables filling up faster than ever, we highly recommend booking your visit well in advance to avoid disappointment.


To help you plan your upcoming visits and celebrations, we're sharing our holiday and summer break schedule first and foremost.

Upcoming Holiday & Summer Break Closures

Please take note of the following dates when Otakoï Ukrainian Restaurant will be closed so our team can rest and celebrate with their families:


  • Melbourne Cup Day: Tuesday, 4th November – Closed

  • Christmas Eve & Christmas Day: Tuesday, 24th & Wednesday, 25th December – Closed

  • Summer Break: Wednesday, 1st January to Tuesday till 14th January – Closed

(We will reopen with our regular hours on Wednesday, 15th January.)


Christmas Functions & Corporate Bookings

Planning a special end-of-year celebration with colleagues, friends, or family? As a cozy, intimate restaurant, hosting a large group during our busiest season is a special undertaking.


To ensure an exceptional and private experience for your group, we have created a dedicated functions package.

We strongly encourage you to plan your festive events in advance, as availability is extremely limited.


For groups of 8 to 40 guests - $100 per person. Our Festive Package Includes:

  • One Starter: Your choice from our selection of Starters, Salads, or Soups.

  • One Main: Your choice from our Mains, Varenyky, or Soups.

  • One Dessert: A sweet finish from our dessert menu.

  • One Soft Drink: Your choice of any soft drink, including our house-made Compot or Uzwar.



Please note that alcohol is not included in this package. We offer a selection of alcoholic beverages for purchase, or you are welcome to BYO. A corkage fee of $8 per person or $30 per table will apply.


While our standard bookings are for two hours, we understand that celebrations need more time. Your function's dining time will be extended to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience, tailored to your group size.
